Two-in-one Dispersing and Milling for a high yield

An important process step in the manufacture of cosmetic products is mixing and dipersing.

The development of Micronet techology has created the ability to disperse and mill at the same time, leading to a reduction of the cycle time and reducing cleaning operations by 50%, without sacrificing fast and effective processing.

  • Upper dispersing chamber with stainless steel Cowles impellers.
  • Milling chamber in wear resistant steel with grinding impellers, turbines and filters for microbeads retaining.
  • Thick steel base frame complete with V belts and pulley transmission.

COSMETICS and EMULSIONS

Micronet two-in-one dispersers and mills with microbeads are machines for a fast and effective refining from 10 to 0 microns, suitable for all the composites normally produced by the paint, lacquer and chemical industry, even with a high pigment concentration.

The system allows the possibility of preparing the mixture in the milling chamber.

WHAT BENEFITS DID EASY CLEANING BRING YOU?

Working with only one color at a time, the main advantage is the ease of cleaning the different pigments which improves efficiency by reducing the processes change over time.

WHAT PROBLEM WERE YOU FACING AND DID DROMONT MANAGE TO FIX THEM?

The main problem before using Micronet was handling of the milling beads. It was complicated to remove all of them, but now the fast-discharging system of the Micronet solves this problem.

WHAT KIND OF APPLICATIONS/PRODUCTS DO YOU DO WITH THE MACHINE?

We produce only pigment for make-up: monochromes. After processing them separately, they are mixed in another machine. Thanks to the speed of cleaning, we can produce many different colors. It’s easier to adjust tints for all the shades and tones.

HOW MANY PRODUCTION CYCLES DO YOU DO WITH THE MACHINE PER DAY?

We produce 2 batches per day.
