Kynesis is a continuous in-line disperser working on the rotor-stator principle that is suitable for a large range of applications and also revamping of existing processes. Our revolutionary high speed dispersing technology offers an easy process integration for both homogeneous distribution of solid particles in liquid (dispersion) or liquid in liquid (emulsions). Kynesis was develped during the last decade to evolve 50 years Comec experience in traditional dispersers to meet the efficiency, throughput and sustainability needs of today’s industry.
With excellent powder wetting and breaking of agglomerates, the rotor-stator of the Kynesis provides improved dispersion quality and reduces powder usage.

The wide range of rotors and stators allows you to manage a large variety of products of different viscosities and densities and the wide range of motors can satisfy every production need up to 200 kW.

This innovative system is simple to install and offers an easy integration into the existing process and a large range of applications.

The great strength of Kynesis is scalability: the Kynepilot unit allows laboratory formulation testing that is fully scalable to the production Kynesis unit.

Inside the Kynesis, dry components are quickly inducted into the liquids by the strong vacuum created within the rotor/stator chamber. The powders undergo fast, efficient wetting, often in a single pass, resulting from the tremendous shear rate of the Kynesis (that is several times higher than a traditional dissolver).

Thanks to the vacuum generated by the Kynesis, powders are immediately dispersed into the liquid phase. The induction force of the Kynesis pulls the powders into dispersion with no releasing into the surrounding environment.

Thanks to the double action of vacuum and high-speed rotor-stator, agglomeration is avoided, product is perfectly homogeneous and subsequent filtration is not needed. The overall throughput is several times higher than a traditional powerful dissolver.

The easy opening device allows quick access to the internal part of the machine to clean and remove impurities such as rocks, metal and other hard contaminates or for change out of the rotor-stator configutation. Opening needs few second and does not require any tool.
